
With sixteen years of experience in the local education system and eleven in the nonprofit world, Michele Connelly brings passion and a unique set of skills to West Central MS. Michele acquired a B.S. from Mississippi State University, a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Mississippi College and a Masters in Catholic School Leadership at Marymount University. A Vicksburg native, she is a current member of the Excel by 5 Coalition, the Campaign for Grade Level Reading Coalition, the Vicksburg/Warren Middle School Coalition, Live Healthy Action Team, Cadence Bank's CAC Committee, the Vicksburg Warren County College and Career Academies Executive Board, and the Warren County Long-Term Recovery Committee. She serves as the Vice Chair for Vicksburg Main Street Board of Directors. Michele also serves as the statewide chair for the ALICE: Financial Hardship Study, along with serving as a Board Member for the Mississippi Head Start Association and a member of the Mississippi State Early Childhood Advisory Council, MDHS Child Care Payment Program (CCPP) Advisory Council and the MS Early Childhood Development Coalition.
