United Way of West Central Mississippi empowers people to get on stable financial ground. We do this by collaborating with our partner agencies and other community organizations committed to breaking the cycle of poverty through internship opportunities, workforce assistance training, emergency assistance for rent and utilities, affordable housing, sliding scale access to daycare, mental health and medical services.
Our financial stability goal is to promote financial stability and independece for familes and individuals by addressing the following target issues:
- Financial Literacy
- Job Training/Readiness
- Affordable Housing

YMCA
Camp and Daycare Scholarships - Childcare at the Vicksburg YMCA consists of Primetime afterschool programs at (7) Warren County elementary school sites, summer day camp and Warner-Tully resident camp.
After School Program-
Warren County Habitat for Humanity
Affordable Housing – to provide affordable housing for low-income individuals and families.
Midd-West Industries
Transportation Services – provides a full range of developmental and employment related training to the handicapped population of Warren County.
